EB Painting was exceptional to work with! They recently completely painted the exterior of our 110 year old character home in East Vancouver, and we couldn’t be more pleased! They transformed it from an old pink bottle-dash stucco lady, to a beautiful pale gray beauty with cream trim! We are so pleased with their efforts. The crew was phenomenal… Responsive, talented, attentive to detail, open to suggestions and conversation (...about our many requests!), and very respectful! Everyone from Eric, to Karla, to the Painting crew, was phenomenal. Special shout out to Nefi and Waquim for showing up every day ready to tackle anything from crazy high ladders to extremely hard to reach places! Thanks guys. Happy homeowner here!
Your exterior paint has to withstand the elements throughout the year, which means you must use durable paint that meets the needs of your home. Generally speaking, you should paint your exterior every five to ten years, but this will depend on where you live, the climate, and the surface of your home. For example, wood siding should be painted every three to seven years, aluminum every five years, stucco 3 is five to six years, and brick can last fifteen to twenty years. .
Oh wow, this looks like SO much work! I guess I have been renting in big cities for so long and not painting myself. However, any time my family does they DIY – and it’s always a much better, more creative job than when they pay someone!! The whole house is your canvas =) Gerilyn Larsen February 25, 2015

We needed fascia painted on a large 2 story home. We have some decorative areas that protrude from the areas around the windows, making this jobs a bit more challenging. Alisa was very patient with our requests for added details with the quote. Alisa was always readily available, attentive to our needs, and brought the whole process together smoothly, timely and professionally with a very pleasant demeanor. We got a great deal on our job and are extremely pleased with the result. Two thumbs up!

It’ll cost you between $500 and $1,000 to paint the exterior yourself. Not including paint, it’ll cost you no more than $200 to $300 at a home improvement store like Home Depot, Lowes or Menards. You may end up spending more if you buy high-quality products from specialized shops. Professionals can get the same supplies for about half what you’ll pay. Westminster Home Painting

Interior paint should last five to ten years. With regular light dusting and gentle cleaning, its lifespan will tend toward the latter. Addressing stains or any signs of water damage as soon as possible is key to maintaining both interior and exterior paint. If you find water damage on your exterior paint, you may want to inspect the gutters and downspouts. A yearly inspection and gutter cleaning may prevent paint damage down the road. Regular maintenance of your exterior paint should also include cleaning, touch-up painting, and trimming trees and bushes near the house to ensure proper airflow.
Awesome post! I just wanted to add a couple tips about cleaning brushes that might be helpful. If you’re painting and are coming back for second coats later the same day, you can put your brush in a ziplock bag to keep it from drying out while you’re taking a break. When cleaning your brushes, use Murphy Oil Soap, it really helps to get the paint off and is eco friendly. You can even soak brushes in it and clean them later on if you’re a giant procrastinator like I am 🙂 I love following your progress with this house and am so stoked to see the finished product! Cheers and have a great day! Alexandra February 25, 2015 Jill @ Champagne for Everyday February 25, 2015
When was the last time you stood in the paint aisle at the hardware store feeling overwhelmed by the different types of paint? Labels that explain nothing about the product inside. Confusing terminology like low-VOCs and no-VOCs.

In order for your business to be as profitable as possible, your commercial property must be kept well maintained. If your exterior paint coat is peeling or unsightly, prospective clients and customers may be discouraged from patronizing your business. If your property's interior is uninviting and unprofessional, the same thing can occur.
